Hello!
Tomorrow I send Gulliver (GeoBear No.7) off to my hometown, Grants Pass, Oregon, to go on a roadtrip with a highschool friend who saw the bears on my Facebook page. I hope they have a good trip and I'm sure we will be seeing some good pictures soon.
Since it is also the typical traveling season for 2011 I hope to hear from some of my other bears who are circulating out in space somewhere.
Thanks all and as usual, if you or someone you know are traveling soon please consider having me mail you a bear to take on a trip.

Odysseus Update:
I got the following e-mail a few days ago with some very cool pictures:
Hi Molly,
Odysseus arrived in Big Spring, TX late this afternoon. We are an Army family and we are moving from Manassas, VA to Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX. The family who had Odysseus in Washington DC gave him to us to take with. My husband got promoted at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC so that was our first stop. The son of the friends that we stayed with had surgery and Odysseus went with him to give him some comfort. On the second day of our travels we stopped to visit close friends from Germany that live in Atlanta. Tomorrow we are finishing or trip and we should arrive at our new home on Fort Bliss.
I was very excited to hear from them and the pictures are great!

Introducing Alice, Cheng Ho, Gulliver, and Ponce de Leon
I've made four new bears to add to the project and three bears got their start recently thanks to my friends and family.- GeoBear #4: Cheng Ho: My roommate's friend is taking a trip to China this month with his wife and they are nice enough to take a bear with them.
- GeoBear #5: Ponce de Leon: His ride fell through so now he's hanging out in my closet. Any takers?- GeoBear #6: Alice: My college friend is taking a trip north to Kootney lakes and then to Edmonton. She asked if I could make her a bear to take (of course!) so I made Alice to go with her. She then plans to give Alice to some Canadian friends.
- GeoBear #7: Gulliver: My boyfriend's parents travel to watch his sister play volleyball and they are going to take a bear with them to see cool things and later pass him on when the season ends and they come home.
Before I gave Gulliver to my boyfriend's family I took him with us to their grandmother's birthday/reunion celebration in San Francisco, CA. There he saw the weekend market, went to the Giants v Mets game at AT&T Park and saw the Golden Gate Bridge. The pictures are below. Thanks for tuning in!

Odysseus' Trip Details and a Zella Update
I received a more detailed update from Odysseus' current holders. The e-mail says they received him in Arizona and took him home to Medford, Oregon. He then went with them across the country to see a graduation in Manassas, Virginia and while the travelers were in the area they visited Washington, DC and took him to the World War 2 Memorial, the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, the Washington Memorial, and the Lincoln Memorial among other things. They sent me a TON of very awesome pictures of which I am extremely grateful. They then said that they will give Odysseus to the graduate who got a trip to Europe as his graduation present.
I am currently trying to track down what happened to Odysseus between Tugman State Park and Arizona but I assume that he went there with the people who received him in Oregon. Of some things we can never be certain!
On another note Zella is in Russia thanks to my best gal pal and her missionary friend. Zella has been left with some people and hopefully I get an update soon.

Odysseus in Washington DC!
It's been a very long time since I started this project. I sent out a few bears and they all seemed to get lost and tonight in my restlessness I checked my e-mail to find an update, from Washington! The message read like this: "Received: Jun 11, 2010 Odysseus is on the move. Look for him in Europe in the near future. Is the middle east on his travel plans? Have a good one,
I'm very very excited, especially since they sent me a picture as well. Hopefully we get an update soon as they hinted at over-seas travel!
